M&A advisory firm, GP Bullhound, identify Turbulenz as “One to Watch” in Europe
GP Bullhound, one of the leading M&A advisory firms in digital media and gaming, has identified Turbulenz as one of the hottest European digital media companies to watch. Apparently we are building something pretty darn awesome and are on the verge of revolutionizing the online gaming industry.

As those who follow us will know, things have evolved quite rapidly at Turbulenz over the last three months. We have entered open beta with our game site and first two titles, Space Ark and Score Rush; we have received very positive reviews from gaming magazines and blogs; we have significantly increased the number of active users on our game site; the average session times for our first two titles appear to be higher than the industry mean, which speaks for the high quality of the Turbulenz gaming experience; we’ve increased the number of titles in development from 2 to 7; we’ve hired a very experienced first party development team; and our game network has been labeled by one influential industry insider as “something Zynga and Facebook could only dream of.”
But we’re still just getting started… our product roadmap includes unique and unprecedented features that we hope will add lots of value to both developers and players alike. One new product update we are particularly excited about is our real-time multiplayer feature. Imagine throwing shells and dropping bananas as you race around your favourite go-kart track online, it’s no fun unless your friends are there with you. Simply post the link to your friends via your Facebook feed, Twitter or Email, and have them instantly join your game in real-time. No downloads, no plugins, no headaches – it’s as seamless as it gets! With Turbulenz, the greatest gaming experience is always just one-click away. We should have this feature up and running on Score Rush within the next couple of months.
Thanks to GP Bullhound for its recognition, as well as for organising a fantastic Awards Ceremony in Berlin.
So stay tuned, stay connected and let us take care of the rest, because there is a lot more to come.
